Disability Rights

The Disability Rights Working Group is comprised of IHRFG members interested in supporting the human rights of people with disabilities. At recent IHRFG meetings, colleagues have shared how their funding programs support the rights of people with disabilities - whether as discrete programs or through inclusion of people with disabilities throughout their grantmaking. The group seeks to identify opportunities for funders to contribute to this important, timely and neglected area of human rights work.

Together with the Disability Funders Network, IHRFG maintains a disability rights listserve. Members share information on current events and grantmaking news related to international disability rights. If you wish to be added, please send an email to DisabilityRights-subscribe@topica.com
