Policy & Research
IHRFG helps funders access information integral to human rights grantmaking. Our current priority is tracking the evolving state of global human rights funding and creating dynamic, interactive data and research tools to help human rights funders and advocates increase their effectiveness.
Policies Affecting Human Rights Grantmaking
In an effort to contribute to a favorable and encouraging environment for human rights funding globally, IHRFG informs its members of policies relevant to human rights grantmaking and opportunities for engagement.
The grantmaking community has grown increasingly concerned about the ongoing trend of restrictions on civil society and their receipt of foreign funding across the globe, as well as the impact of counter-terrorism policies on funding for human rights and humanitarian work.
